Osteopathy
Osteopathy is a hands-on therapy that is gentle and non-invasive, working to help the body self-heal and self-regulate. Through gentle adjustment of the body, we work to remove obstructions that restrict the flow of the blood, lymph and nerve impulses. Through our daily lives or trauma, the body's structure may be unbalanced or have dysfunction that limits our body's ability to breathe, move, digest, and many other functions. Once the structure is balanced, the body can self-heal and self-regulate.
Manual osteopaths achieve this by working with the body's soft tissues, as well as the joints, ligaments, and bones. A classically trained osteopathic manual practitioner must use their vast knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics to do this effectively while applying the core osteopathic principles.
Naturopathic Medicine
Treatments Available for Ontario, Canada residents only
Naturopathic medicine is a system of primary health care that emphasizes disease prevention, patient education, and individualized treatment. It combines modern medical science with natural and traditional therapies to support the body’s inherent ability to heal. Licensed naturopathic doctors (NDs) are trained in clinical diagnosis and evidence-informed practice, and may use a range of therapeutic approaches including nutrition, lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, and physical therapies.
Counselling
Psychotherapy/Counselling, often called “talk therapy,” is a collaborative process between a trained therapist and an individual, couple, or group. It provides a safe and supportive space to explore thoughts, emotions, and patterns of behavior. Through conversation and evidence-based techniques, psychotherapy helps people gain insight, develop coping strategies, improve relationships, and make meaningful changes in their lives. It can be helpful for managing specific mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, or trauma, as well as for personal growth, self-awareness, and overall well-being.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture — one of the most well-known components of TCM — involves the gentle insertion of fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to regulate energy flow, support organ function, and promote healing. Licensed practitioners of acupuncture and TCM use evidence-informed assessment and treatment approaches to help address both acute and chronic health concerns. Treatments are customized for each individual, focusing on restoring balance and preventing future illness.
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is a regulated health profession focused on the assessment and treatment of soft tissue and musculoskeletal conditions. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) use evidence-informed manual techniques to help reduce pain, improve mobility, enhance circulation, and support overall physical function. Massage therapy plays an important role in injury rehabilitation, chronic pain management, stress reduction, and preventative care.
Each treatment is tailored to the individual’s needs, health history, and goals. Whether addressing acute injury, ongoing discomfort, or general maintenance, massage therapy supports long-term physical health and recovery.
